The name '18 Commando' was chosen because 2018 was the year HAH was formed.
The Fairbairn–Sykes commando knife is an homage to the hard-charging Allied commandos of WWII and the later Cold War mercs we all admire so much.
And the motto 'Stay Based' well…that's just one of those IYKYK kind of things.
